At the entrance to the Northern Westchester Hospital campus, thanks to the generosity of a local family, we are crafting a beautiful green respite — a healing garden for visitors, staff, patients, and their family members.
With an array of color, texture and sound, our new garden space will touch the lives of everyone who walks along its path or sits among its flowerbeds.
"This garden isn’t a luxury,” explains Susan Raskin, RN, Manager, Integrative Medicine.
“It will help patients heal emotionally, spiritually and physically. For families in crisis, the garden will be the respite they need. And for everyone, it will be a serene place that offers the chance to recharge.”
If you make a contribution of $250, we will inscribe one of the bricks on the side walk that surrounds the garden with your personal message, your name or the name of a loved one.
